A highly respected, top‑performing residential real estate team based in Chicago is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations & Executive Broker to serve as the strategic right hand to the Team Leader. This pivotal role is ideal for a licensed real estate professional who combines operational excellence, strong business judgment, and a white‑glove client mindset. The Director of Operations & Executive Broker will act as the operational backbone of the business, bringing structure, accountability, and forward momentum to a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment. This is an in-office role that follows a Tuesday – Saturday schedule and an active Illinois Real Estate License is required.
THE ROLE:
- Serve as the primary operational and strategic partner to the Team Leader, ensuring priorities and initiatives are executed seamlessly.
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling, daily workflows, and executive‑level task prioritization.
- Act as a central communication hub, filtering information and ensuring timely follow‑up across all stakeholders.
- Develop, document, and continuously refine standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Train, manage, and hold team members accountable to workflows and performance metrics.
- Monitor KPIs, reporting, and goal alignment to support business growth.
- Support business development and lead management efforts, including CRM optimization and outreach campaigns.
- Execute and oversee marketing initiatives across digital, print, social media, and listing launches.
- Prepare listing presentations, CMAs, and market analyses.
- Provide hands‑on, licensed transaction support throughout the full buying and selling lifecycle.
- Serve as a high‑touch point of contact for clients, reinforcing trust, loyalty, and long‑term relationships.
- Oversee vendors, budgets, and cross‑functional projects from concept through completion.
YOU:
- Active Illinois Real Estate License.
- 5+ years of residential real estate experience with deep transaction knowledge.
- 3+ years in operations, executive support, or business management within real estate.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong client‑facing presence with a high level of discretion and emotional intelligence.
- Able to operate independently while managing competing priorities.
- Comfortable in a role that blends office‑based, on‑site, and field work.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
