A reputable consulting firm in the Downtown area is seeking a temporary Conference Planner with extensive corporate event planning experience. We are looking for someone to run internal and external events from start to finish in a professional service setting. The ideal candidate should be able to handle planning, logistics, vendors, budgets, and execution with confidence. They are offering a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full planning and execution of corporate internal and external events from concept through delivery, including in-person, virtual, all‑staff, and leadership meetings.
- Manage all event logistics such as venue selection, contracts, vendor coordination, AV needs, catering, agenda planning, and health/safety compliance.
- Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and provide clear financial updates to leadership.
- Partner with senior leaders to align event goals with organizational priorities and ensure effective communication across offices.
- Mentor and coordinate a team of senior EAs supporting event planning, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring consistent best practices.
- Develop event materials, manage internal communications, and execute post-event surveys and analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience planning and managing complex internal and external corporate events.
- Proven ability to manage high-profile events independently, including budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, event software, and digital communication tools.
