Our client, one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in Illinois is looking for an administrative “floater” to join their team. This is a mission-driven, supportive, and inclusive environment where you’ll “float” between different teams to provide administrative support wherever it’s needed most – whether for fundraising events, special projects, covering vacancies, or during busy times.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative and clerical support across departments
- Enter and maintain donor data in Salesforce; run reports and manage backlog (training provided)
- Assist with preparation and logistics for fundraising events (on-site, remote, or external venues)
- Help manage switchboard phones and respond to inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain deadlines and support multiple teams during peak times
- Uphold confidentiality and data integrity across organizational systems
- Participate in the Contact Quality Team to support organization-wide campaign data
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in a professional office or administrative setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to learn Salesforce (training provided)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt and support multiple teams
