Our client, a life sciences company located in Waltham, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a 6-month contract. This onsite role has hours Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM and is compensating $22 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist employees, clients, and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails professionally
- Manage front desk operations, including mail, packages, and visitor access
- Coordinate meeting room scheduling and assist with meeting setup and breakdown
- Provide general administrative support, including document preparation and record updates
- Maintain office supplies and assist with special projects as needed
- Support travel and expense reporting systems when required
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Concur a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
