Our client, a growing life sciences investment firm in Boston, is seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to support senior investment leaders. This is a temp-to-hire role, offering $50/hour, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment, supporting high-level executives and office operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars and schedule meetings across multiple time zones
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize competing demands
- Arrange domestic and international travel and submit expense reports
- Coordinate office operations, including supplies and general upkeep
- Assist with planning events, team gatherings, and special projects
- Greet and host visitors, ensuring proper meeting setup
- Provide backup support to other Executive Assistants as needed
- Collaborate with a distributed administrative team
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of Executive Assistant or senior administrative experience
- Prior experience in life sciences, venture capital, or similar industries strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative
