A growing organization is seeking an Associate Director of HR to oversee day‑to‑day HR operations and support the company’s people strategy. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees while ensuring a compliant, high‑performing, and engaged workplace. This role is fully onsite in Tinley Park.
THE ROLE:
- Lead employee relations, investigations, and policy application
- Manage performance review cycles and goal-setting processes
- Oversee onboarding and ensure HR compliance and documentation
- Support compensation planning, job evaluations, and payroll collaboration
- Partner with vendors on benefits administration and lead Open Enrollment
- Provide HR metrics, reporting, and insights to senior leadership
- Support culture, engagement, and organizational initiatives
- Draft and distribute employee communications and updates
YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 5-7+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years supporting payroll
- Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS tools (e.g., Paylocity), Excel, and PowerPoint
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred
- Highly organized, discreet, collaborative, and self‑motivated
