Our client, a mission-driven organization that seeks to pursue systemic change in the child welfare and educational systems, encourages bipartisan cooperation in government, and supports meaningful connections to Judaism, is looking for a Grants Administrator to manage the U.S. portfolio based out of the Washington, DC office!
Responsibilities:
- Administering all components of the grant cycle for U.S. grantees, including distributing applications, docket preparation, award letters, payment processing, and reporting.
- Managing the grantmaking database to ensure collection and maintenance of current, relevant, and accurate data.
- Developing and maintaining custom dashboards, reports, and analytics to support effective grantmaking
- Tracking spending and budgeting for U.S. grantmaking efforts.
- Providing technical assistance to grantees with online application and reporting processes.
- Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with grantees, related organizations, other foundations, and Aviv’s professional staff and Board.
- Creating clear, concise, and insightful written materials, presentations, and other materials for the Board and senior staff.
- Assisting with event planning and other foundation-wide functions, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of grants administration experience and a bachelors degree is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders in a flexible and warm manner.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and timeline for deliverables.
- Creative and innovate thinker, passionate about advancing the organization’s mission.
About the Role:
- Salary range of $75K-$100K (dependent on years of experience).
