Our client is seeking an onsite Call Center Agent to join their Rockville, MD team and provide exceptional customer service for their family medical care plan call center. If you have experience in handling incoming phone calls, responding to emails and voicemails, and possess a keen ability to route calls effectively, we want to hear from you!
About the Job:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of provisions, benefit schedules, eligibility, claims processing, and more
- Deliver a premier experience by responding promptly and accurately to calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Explain claim payments and denials, verify eligibility and benefits, and coordinate updates with outside vendors.
- Escalate participant concerns as needed for resolution.
- Accurately document interactions and monitor and manage incoming calls and messages.
- Perform clerical duties, support website navigation, and assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
About You:
- 1+ years of medical call center experience is required.
- Must have a knowledge of medical call center terms.
- Excellent phone presence and communication skills.
- Experience with SharePoint and tech savviness is preferred.
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
About the Position:
- Pays $27/hr, while temporary.
- Converts to $30/hr when permanent.
- 100% on-site in Rockville, MD during the first six months.
