Our client, a tech‑driven financial services firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Temporary Receptionist for a maternity leave. This position will serve from the week of March 9 through July and will operate on a fully on‑site schedule between the hours of Monday & Friday 7:00am-3:00pm and Tuesday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm. Compensation is $25/hr.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including greeting guests, handling phones, signing in visitors, and supporting security procedures
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
- Keep kitchen and common areas tidy and stocked
- Brew coffee, restock supplies, maintain general office organization
- Retrieve merchandise and handle miscellaneous office admin tasks
- Ensure the office is orderly, welcoming, and running smoothly
- Act as a helpful “catch‑all” support for the team; jump in where needed
- Proactively stay involved and visible even though front desk is somewhat isolated
- Use downtime effectively and maintain high reliability
