Our client, a non-profit, is seeking a temporary Events Lead to support their team in McLean, VA through the end of July!
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end event logistics to ensure engaging events and experiences.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and utilize feedback/data to improve the quality of events.
- Build strong relationships with site leaders, collaborate with the director, and serve as a cultural ambassador.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while simultaneously maintaining high-quality execution.
- Complete additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of strong event planning experience and bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years of experience and a Master’s degree.
- A CMP certification is highly desired.
- Technologically savvy with experience using Bizzabo.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both collaboratively/independently.
- Demonstrated ability to write well, proofread and edit, and communicate effectively/diplomatically.
Position Information:
- $40/hr-$50/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary through the end of July.
- Hybrid with 3 days onsite in McLean, VA
- Occasional travel and evening/weekend work
