Our client, an association, is seeking a temporary, Senior Event & Program Specialist to support their growing and busy Events team in Washington, DC for 3 months starting in February!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage student participants during the show.
- Oversee all logistics related to speakers and provide on-site support.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting.
- Manage program and operations
- Handle other tasks or projects as required.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of strong event and program management experience are required.
- Willing and able to travel April 17th-21st for an event.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 is required; Zen Desk experience is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $35/hr-$40/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary for 3 months with the potential for the assignment to extend.
- Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm.
- Hybrid with 3 days/week on site in Washington, DC.
