We are searching for participants for a 1-day mock trial focus group. You will be responsible for watching and answering questions throughout the virtual mock trial. To be considered you must have a personal laptop, reside in Onondaga County, and be available on April 3rd 2026 virtually to participate.
Responsibilities
- During the focus group, 2-3 sets of questions will appear on the screen.
- Provide written answers to all questions, either handwritten or typed.
- Submit your completed answers via email immediately after the session to qualify for payment.
- Participate in a brief 5‑minute Zoom tech check prior to the group, where instructions will be reviewed.
- Provide responses that typically consist of 2-3 sentences or yes/no answers, depending on the question.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to participate
- Must be a resident of Onondaga County
- Have your own personal laptop, computer, or tablet
- Ability to attend the full focus group session and the brief tech check
- Comfortable being recorded for research purposes
