Our client, a national nonprofit organization, is seeking a Temporary Advocacy Coordinator to support their team on a contract basis in Washington, DC.
About the Job

Manage advocacy logistics and support internal coordination across the team

Assist with planning and executing advocacy campaigns and projects

Coordinate and schedule meetings on Capitol Hill

Support planning and logistics for a “fly-in day” advocacy event

Communicate with internal teams and external partners

Track projects and maintain timelines to keep initiatives on schedule

Provide general administrative and project support to the advocacy team
About You
-
2+ years of experience
-
Background supporting Capitol Hill offices, political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or government relations teams preferred

Highly organized with strong project management and coordination skills
-
Comfortable managing logistics and communicating with multiple stakeholders
-
Interest in advocacy, public policy, or nonprofit work
-
Experience with membership organizations is a plus
About the Position

Target start date at the end of the month or early April

Duration of approximately 6-7 months

$28-$33/hour pay range
-
35-hour work week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in office
