A client is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Washington, DC.
About the Job

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers

Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system

Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
-
Order and maintain office supplies, coffee, and water
-
Manage conference room reservations and firmwide event calendars
-
Keep shared spaces clean, stocked, and organized
-
Run local errands, including picking up lunches and purchasing supplies
-
Provide administrative support including data entry, document prep, and travel arrangements
About You
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
About the Position

Temporary role with strong potential to convert to permanent

$25/hour during the contract phase

Permanent salary based on experience and market benchmarks

Full-time schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM)

Fully onsite office across from the U Street Metro Station in Washington, DC
