Our client, a financial services frim, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About the job:
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Professional Practice.
- Ensure all outgoing materials are accurate, polished, and reflect positively on leadership.
- Anticipate leadership needs and proactively offer solutions, information, and options.
- Maintain a professional, confidential, and responsive office environment for all internal and external stakeholders.
- Support smooth day‑to‑day operations by managing calendars, communications, travel, budgeting, and special projects.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact, ensuring anyone interacting with the office feels heard, respected, and guided appropriately.
- Respond to tasks and projects with urgency, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in drafting, editing, and reviewing documents.
- Skilled in travel planning, logistics coordination, and expense management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently.
- Comfortable researching information and presenting findings in clear reports or visuals.
- Professional, discreet, and confident when interacting with senior leaders, board members, volunteers, and external partners.
- Tech‑savvy, proactive, and quick to learn new systems and processes.
- 2+years of Administrative support is required.
About the Position:
- Temp with ASAP start!
- $27-$30/hr
- Metro Accessible
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week onsite.
- Hours: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (37.5‑hour work week, occasionally up to 40 hours.
