Our client, a fast‑moving fintech company located in Manhattan, is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This position will start ASAP and will operate on an in‑office schedule between the hours of 9am-6pm. Compensation is $30/hour
Responsibilities:
- Sit at and manage the front desk
- Greet all employees and guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Manage visitor registration and entry
- Handle heavy daily foot traffic
- Assist with office manager tasks as needed
- Serve as a first point of contact
- Support coordination for high onboarding volume
- Maintain a polished and organized reception area
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and jump in wherever needed
Qualifications:
- Approximately 2+ years’ experience as a receptionist
- Strong customer service skills
- Extremely friendly, bubbly, proactive personality
- Experience in a fast-moving or high-volume environment
- Comfortable interacting with executives, employees, and constant visitors
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Prior office manager support a plus
