Our client, a biotech company located in Cambridge, is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support to its international business team. This 6‑month contract role has a full-time, hybrid schedule and is offering $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports global initiatives by ensuring strong coordination, documentation, and follow‑through across cross‑functional stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain meeting agendas; attend meetings and produce notes, minutes, and action items
- Track action items, deadlines, and follow up to support timely completion
- Maintain project, deliverable, and milestone trackers across international initiatives
- Monitor timelines, flag risks or dependencies, and support leadership status updates
- Support contracting activities, including document tracking and coordination with Legal, Finance, and Procurement
- Coordinate distributor material review and submission processes and maintain approved records
- Build and maintain tools, templates, and documentation to improve operational efficiency
- Provide general operational support for evolving team needs while ensuring policy compliance
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Biotech/Pharma industry experience required
- Background in operations, program coordination, or project support
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple trackers, timelines, and workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting documentation
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment
