Our client, a mission driven non-profit organization, is seeking a Communications and Events Associate to join their team in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Draft and edit newsletters, donor updates, web content, and social media posts.
- Manage and grow social media presence and digital campaigns.
- Support production of reports, publications, and donor mailings.
- Lead planning and coordination of donor and outreach events.
- Manage event logistics, vendors, and on‑site support.
- Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and CRM data.
About You:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Experience with email platforms, social media, Canva, and website CMS tools.
- Detail‑oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related fields is required.
About The Position:

- $23-$25/hr
- Duration: Temp-to-Perm (TTP)
- Hours: 9am – 5pm
- Hybrid schedule: 1-2 days onsite
