Job Summary:
Front Desk/Admin
Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Front Desk/Admin to support daily office operations. This role is ideal for a dependable self-starter who enjoys being the first point of contact and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer and route incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system in a courteous and professional manner
- Greet visitors warmly, respond to inquiries, and direct guests appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area and shared office spaces
- Operate standard office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines, and postage systems
- Log and track incoming calls, visitors, and requests with accuracy and attention to detail
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Maintain and organize general office filing systems
- Provide administrative support to management as needed
- Assist with processing business licenses and registrations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional office or front desk environment
- Experience handling a multi-line phone system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance record
