Our client, a university located in Waltham, is seeking a part-time administrative professional to support its Admissions Operations team for 3+ months. This role is heavily focused on front-line admissions support and application processing, with significant use of Slate CRM. Ideal for someone detail-oriented who is comfortable navigating admissions systems and supporting prospective students through the application process. This hybrid role consists of 20-25 hours per week, running Monday-Friday (half days ideally). It is compensating up to $25 an hour, with free parking available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk admissions operations, including phone, email, and online chat coverage; respond to applicant inquiries using established protocols (45%)
- Provide hands-on support to applicants navigating the Slate admissions system, troubleshooting basic technical issues (45%)
- Assist with application processing and data entry in Slate under the guidance of senior admissions staff (20%)
- Coordinate admissions events, information sessions, and online chats, including Slate event management tools (15%)
- Support prospective student campus visits and visit programming (10%)
- Assist with yield events, orientation activities, and enrollment transition support (5%)
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of office or admissions experience
- Prior experience using Slate CRM strongly preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable interacting with prospective students and handling high email/phone volume
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established processes and deadlines
