Our client, a national association, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Lead procurement and logistics for conferences and events, including sourcing, production, shipping, and delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to manage timelines, deliverables, and onsite event needs.
- Manage vendor relationships, pricing, service levels, and issue resolution.
- Oversee end‑to‑end RFP processes for goods and professional services, including evaluations and award recommendations.
- Ensure accurate purchase order processing, documentation, and compliance with procurement policies.
- Partner with finance and contracts teams to manage budgets, review invoices, and track procurement expenses.
- Monitor procurement activity and vendor performance.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working within a membership organization or association environment preferred.
- Proven experience leading end‑to‑end RFP processes.
- Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle, vendor negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and collaboration tools.
- Experience with NetSuite and contract management systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

- Hybrid Schedule: 4 days onsite
- $45-$50/hr
