Our client, a national nonprofit organization, is seeking an Event Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for a two-day assignment in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide onsite support for event operations and registration
- Assist with attendee check-in and registration coordination
- Support room setup, materials prep, and event logistics
- Direct attendees and provide general event assistance
- Help coordinate breakout sessions and event flow
- Assist with miscellaneous projects and support event staff as needed
About You:
- Prior event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Proactive mindset with a “no task too small” attitude
- Professional demeanor and ability to assist attendees in a fast-paced environment
About The Position:
- Start Date: June 30th
- Duration: 2-day event
- $22/hr
- Schedule:
- June 30: 10:15 AM – 8:15 PM
- July 1: 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
- 100% onsite
