Our client, global investment firm based in Midtown, Manhattan is looking to hire a Temp to support the tax division during a busy period. The position will start ASAP. Monday – Friday onsite, standard business hours. Temp duration is two weeks to start (potential extend). Compensation is $20-$22/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Go through all the backlog of tax documents that are sent to the firm at year end every year
- Open, discard envelopes, scan letters, save and send to an email address
- File the originals in folders, store the files and label up
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is detail oriented and comfortable handling confidential paperwork
- Prior corporate office experience is helpful. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment such as printers and scanners is required
- The ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow consistent processes is important for success in this role
