Our client, a services-focused company, is seeking a temporary Events Coordinator to support their dynamic headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA for 1-2 months! If you have experience managing in-house events, are personable, and have strong technical skills, apply now!
About the Job:
- Manage internal employee-focused events, including employee recognition events, national meetings, and other gatherings.
- Secure venues, coordinate logistics, and develop event agendas and communication materials.
- Act as the point of contact for vendors and speakers while facilitating participation from executive leadership.
- Maintain budgets, ensuring expenses are within company guidelines, and compile detailed event-related reports for review.
- Promote event participation, gather actionable feedback, and support other event-related tasks as required.
About You:
- 2+ years of event management or related experience is required.
- Experience working in-house events is highly preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in events or a related field is required.
- Charismatic and approachable with strong collaborative and technical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
About the Position:
- Pays $23/hr-$25/hr
- Temporary for 1-2 months.
- 100% onsite from 8am-5pm.
- Office in Virginia Beach, VA.
