Our client, a well‑established real estate management firm, is seeking a Temporary Management Assistant / Receptionist to support daily office operations at their Roslindale, MA location. This is a 100% onsite role (free parking provided) working 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, starting ASAP, for 3+ months with potential to convert to permanent. The hourly pay is $20/hr, with an estimated $42K salary upon conversion. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries from tenants, clients, and vendors
- Greet visitors and provide a polished, professional first impression
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Coordinate with building security to manage parking passes and access lists
- Scan, file, and maintain property and administrative documents
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for correspondence, tracking, and reporting
- Prepare and set up conference rooms for meetings and client presentations
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors, primarily for building and maintenance needs
- Provide general administrative support to property management and brokerage teams
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office assistant role preferred (real estate a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced office environment
