A well‑established university in the Boston area is seeking a Temporary Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high‑level support to the Office of the Executive Vice President. This onsite role offers $40/hour, runs for 3+ months, and follows a 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. The position is based onsite with $5/day parking available and convenient access to public transportation. Job Responsibilities
- Provide high‑level administrative and operational support to the Office of the Executive Vice President, including drafting communications, managing correspondence, and maintaining executive materials, templates, and website content.
- Coordinate executive‑level committees, councils, and roundtables, including agenda development, meeting logistics, presentation coordination, material distribution, and follow‑up communications.
- Support EVP calendar management and annual planning, ensuring alignment across governance, strategy, risk management, and institutional initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison between the EVP and central administrative partners, facilitating communication, scheduling, approvals, and information flow for university‑wide initiatives.
- Support major initiatives and governance processes, including strategic planning, operating model transformation, risk management, and executive‑level planning efforts.
- Manage executive searches on behalf of the EVP, including coordination with search firms and scheduling logistics.
- Oversee annual performance planning processes for EVP direct reports, including timelines, communications, tracking, and scheduling.
- Maintain organizational documentation, including EVP organization charts and shared resources for committees and initiatives.
- Provide project management, scheduling, logistics, and administrative support for special projects and time‑sensitive initiatives as needed.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting senior executives or providing high‑level administrative support in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience supporting executive committees, governance bodies, or large‑scale initiatives strongly preferred.
