Our healthcare association client is looking for a Director of Health Policy to join their dynamic and impactful Government Affairs team. If you have experience advancing federal health policies focused on the aging community, apply now!
About the Job:
- Represent the organization on Capitol Hill, setting up weekly meetings
- Track, analyze, and respond to federal legislation and policy
- Develop legislative strategies and policy recommendations
- Prepare congressional testimony, policy briefs, letters, and other communications
- Support and advance a coordinated federal advocacy and legislative agenda
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience on Capitol Hill or a government affairs department of an association
- Experience with health care policy regarding nursing homes, or Medicare/Medicaid required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work with coalitions, stakeholders, and policymakers
Compensation & Benefits
- Hybrid in Washington, DC, will spend 2-3 days a week on Capitol Hill
- $130K – 140K + comprehensive benefits package
