Our client, a health-related benefits organization, is seeking a Call Center Representative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Rockville, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Provide high-touch customer service support within a benefits-focused organization
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, and claims
- Assist members with questions, including explaining claim outcomes and payment details
- Research and resolve benefit and eligibility issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors
- Accurately document all interactions in the system
- Support enrollment processing and maintain member records
- Navigate internal systems and online resources to provide accurate information
- Escalate complex issues as needed and assist with special projects
About You:
- 1+ years of customer service experience (call center preferred)
- High School Diploma required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle high-volume calls with professionalism and empathy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working with confidential information
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $27/hr
- Perm Salary: $62K
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- 100% onsite
