Our client, a research focused organization, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, DC.
About The Job:
- Serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and answering phones
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Manage conference room scheduling and coordinate meeting logistics
- Order catering and assist with meeting and event setup
- Monitor office inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Serve as liaison with building management for facilities and maintenance requests
- Respond to staff inquiries and provide general administrative support
- Assist with mail distribution, light IT coordination, and special projects
About You:
- Prior experience in reception, office support, or administrative roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact across all levels
- Technologically savvy and comfortable with office systems
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Duration: 1 week; potential extension through mid-June
- $22/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
