Our client, a nonprofit organization located in Boston, is seeking a Part-Time HR Administrative Assistant to support its recruitment and HR team. This is a 100% onsite role, working 24-25 hours per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position is expected to run for 2+ months, and it is compensating $24/hour. Job Responsibilities
- File, maintain, and update employee and recruitment records
- Send new hire paperwork and onboarding documents
- Create and organize new hire folders
- Post and maintain open positions on job boards and company platforms
- Answer and direct department phone calls
- Perform HRIS data entry and ensure accuracy of employee records
- Coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications
- Assist with administrative projects to support the recruitment team
- Provide general administrative support so recruiters can focus on hiring activities
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with data entry, record management, and confidentiality
