Our client, a real estate developer, located in Midtown East is seeking a Long Term Temporary Administrative Assistant for the Accounting Team. This position requires to be in office 5 days a week from 8:30am-5:30pm. The role will begin as soon as they find the right person and will continue through the end of August. The role will pay up to $32/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Compiling various documents to our daily entry network folder. This includes scanning and merging documents in Adobe.
- Small bank rec’s and making several entries to our IBS system. This is no more than 10 monthly.
- Excel schedules which includes downloading information from IBS and uploading it into an excel schedule.
- Manual filing of papers and statements into folders.
- Monthly rent bills which includes scanning and sending out bills. This process takes a couple of days to complete.
- Backup to the front desk as needed.
- Ad hoc tasks as needed by the team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years administrative support experience
- Proficiency of Adobe, Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Poised, presentable, articulate, able to communicate clearly in English (oral and written)
- Ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships with team members.
- Professional demeanor.
