Our client a national nonprofit organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent in Arlington, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Provide high-level executive support to the CEO and Chief of Staff, managing complex administrative and operational needs
- Oversee and manage a demanding executive calendar, prioritizing meetings and communications
- Serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors, coordinating all meetings, materials, and communications
- Plan and execute board meetings, executive meetings, and organizational events end-to-end
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects, including research, reporting, and project coordination
- Prepare confidential reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Coordinate travel, expenses, and logistics for executive leadership
- Maintain strict confidentiality while engaging with senior leaders, board members, and external partners
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience managing complex calendars, board logistics, and executive operations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to draft high-level materials independently
- Advanced organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as Concur and project management platforms
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and manage competing priorities effectively
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $32-$35/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- Onsite: 4 days/week
