Beacon Hill has partnered with a prestigious law firm in downtown Chicago in hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to start immediately! As a Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of the hiring process, coordinating interviews and supporting onboarding for the recruiting team.
Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for administrative and staff-level roles across the firm
- Coordinate a high volume of interviews, including phone, virtual, and onsite scheduling across multiple stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a professional and seamless experience throughout the hiring process
- Communicate interview details, logistics, and follow-ups in a clear, timely, and organized manner
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR to maintain alignment on scheduling and hiring priorities
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate activity, interview feedback, and status updates
- Assist with drafting and sending offer letters and supporting onboarding logistics
- Facilitate new hire onboarding processes, including scheduling orientation, preparing materials, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience
- Conduct light sourcing for candidates using LinkedIn and job boards to build candidate pipelines
- Help post job openings and manage job board activity
- Track recruiting metrics and provide administrative reporting support as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate and firm information
- Provide general administrative support to the recruiting and HR team as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative experience (professional services or legal environment preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to interact confidently with candidates and senior-level stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
- Experience scheduling across multiple calendars and time zones is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and customer service mindset when supporting candidates and internal teams
