Our client, a large corporation is seeking a HRIS Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Alexandria, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Provide administrative support for HR compliance processes, including reviewing new hire paperwork and auditing Form I-9s
- Process E-Verify cases and ensure proper documentation and timely follow-up
- Support the Tentative Non-Confirmation process, including communication, tracking, and resolution
- Review and verify personnel data for employee credentials and compliance requirements
- Assist with HRIS data integrity through audits, reporting, and system testing
- Support HRMS data cleanup, system updates, and process improvements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and HR records
- Monitor inventory of HR materials and coordinate distribution as needed
- Provide general administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred
- 1+ year of HRIS experience required
- Familiarity with HR compliance processes, including I-9s required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and audit data accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- $24-$26/hr
- Permanent Salary: $50K-$55K
