A mission driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to extend in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Develop and coordinate communication materials (newsletters, toolkits, presentations)
- Provide writing, editing, and storytelling support for internal communications
- Coordinate project timelines and workflows using project management tools
- Support intranet rollout efforts, including content and communications coordination
- Assist with stakeholder engagement, meetings, and cross-functional collaboration
- Support campaign planning, toolkits, and organizational initiatives
- Develop content that highlights organizational impact and partnerships
- Provide project-based communications support for ongoing initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of communications, project coordination, or administrative experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint, Canva, or project platforms preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Schedule: 32 hours/week
- $32-$36/hr
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite
