Field Sales Representative

Location:

Dallas, TX

Schedule:

Full-time
Hybrid schedule:

  • In office Mondays and Fridays
  • In the field Tuesday through Thursday
  • Occasional flexibility to work from home on some Mondays or Fridays

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $72,000
  • Quarterly bonus / commission structure
  • Six-figure earning potential

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Field Sales Representative to support growth across Texas and surrounding markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outside sales, building relationships in person, and managing a mix of existing accounts and new business development.

This role offers a strong foundation with an established book of business already generating revenue, while also giving the right person the ability to expand the territory and make a direct impact on sales growth. The company operates in a lean, entrepreneurial environment, so this position is ideal for someone who is self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business within an assigned territory
  • Prospect for new business through in-person visits, networking, and relationship building
  • Travel locally and regionally to meet with customers, prospects, and decision-makers
  • Visit commercial sites such as restaurants, schools, and other facilities to identify opportunities
  • Build relationships with operators, facility leaders, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Follow up on inbound leads and develop territory-based opportunities
  • Coordinate product samples, project follow-up, and customer communication throughout the sales cycle
  • Maintain strong account management practices and provide ongoing customer support
  • Manage travel efficiently and cost-effectively across the territory

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales, field sales, or territory sales experience preferred
  • Proven experience building relationships in person and generating new business
  • Experience in industries such as construction, flooring, building products, contracting, or related commercial sales is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a territory
  • Comfortable traveling frequently throughout the assigned market
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
