Our client, a nonprofit organization is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
* Support development and updates of online learning content (Articulate Rise & Storyline)
* Assist with course design across virtual, in-person, and self-paced formats
* Conduct accessibility reviews to ensure ADA/WCAG compliance
* Perform quality assurance on learning materials and user experience
* Support LMS (Thinkific) content updates, testing, and maintenance
* Assist with multilingual content and translation support
* Create and maintain documentation and SOPs
* Support new learning initiatives and process improvements
About You:
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* 3+ years of instructional design experience
* Experience with Articulate Rise and Storyline preferred
* Knowledge of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards
* Experience with LMS platforms
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
About The Position:
* Start Date: ASAP!
* Duration: 6-month contract, with potential to extend!
* Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
* $34-$38/hr
