Our client, a nonprofit research organization is seeking a HR Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Manage benefits administration and open enrollment
- Maintain HR systems, reporting, and employee data (HRIS/ATS management)
- Support compensation benchmarking and salary analysis
- Assist with immigration-related processes in partnership with external counsel
- Support employee relations, compliance, and HR operations
- Contribute to training, development, and process improvement initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of HR experience with a strong generalist background
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional and approachable
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- $38-$43/hr
- Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite
