Our client, a growing software-as-a-service company located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Temp-to-Perm Executive Assistant to support its newly hired Chief Product Officer and, in time, a forthcoming Chief Technology Officer. This is a newly created position due to company growth, joining an established executive support team consisting of two Executive Assistants and a Chief of Staff.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, bustling sales environment and has experience supporting senior executives at the C-suite level. This individual will serve as a trusted partner, managing complex calendars, coordinating extensive travel, supporting recruiting efforts, and helping drive operational efficiency for senior leadership. This role requires five days/week on-site from 9am-5pm with Paid OT as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Product Officer and future Chief Technology Officer
- Manage complex and ever-changing calendars, ensuring priorities are aligned and schedules are optimized
- Coordinate frequent domestic travel, including conferences, client meetings, and internal events
- Support recruiting and interview coordination for technical hires
- Arrange meetings across multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Prepare executives for meetings through scheduling logistics and administrative support
- Partner closely with the EA team, Chief of Staff, and other cross-functional teams
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc administrative needs as they arise
- Participate in a rotating Friday reception coverage schedule alongside the Executive Assistant team
Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting C-suite executives is required
- Demonstrated success managing complex calendars and travel arrangements for senior leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to interact with senior executives
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and navigate ambiguity
- Collaborative team player who values partnership and relationship-building
- Comfortable providing thoughtful pushback, asking questions, and seeking feedback when needed
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Stable work history; candidates with excessive job-hopping are not favored
