Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Philadelphia, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the President. This contract position will serve as a trusted partner to the executive team, managing high-level administrative responsibilities, coordinating communications, and helping ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate is polished, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
About the Job
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the President, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and related logistics as needed.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, agendas, and reports.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, responding or escalating as appropriate.
- Coordinate board and leadership meetings, including scheduling, document preparation, distribution of materials, and meeting logistics.
- Support office operations and help streamline administrative processes.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, or similar high-level administrative support role.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
This is an open-ended contract opportunity that is based in Philadelphia, PA. This opportunity offers up to $28/hour, dependent upon experience. The team is targeting an immediate start.
