Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Assistant to support a collaborative Human Resources team within an investment management organization. This is a hybrid administrative and HR support role offering exposure to recruiting, benefits, employee engagement, training, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is discreet, proactive, and interested in building a career within Human Resources while working closely with senior HR leadership. Hours are generally 9:00am-6:00pm with a one-hour lunch break, and the role follows a hybrid schedule with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team, including senior HR leadership
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, training sessions, interviews, and HR-related events
- Create and maintain HR trackers, records, reports, and documentation
- Support employee file management, both physical and electronic
- Maintain HR compliance records, labor law postings, and administrative documentation
- Coordinate and track performance review processes and professional development activities
- Input and maintain employee data within HRIS systems and reporting tools
- Monitor HR inboxes and route communications appropriately
- Assist with benefits administration and recruiting coordination as needed
- Support employee engagement initiatives, staff events, and HR programs
- Register visitors and coordinate logistics for HR meetings and interviews
- Provide backup support to other members of the HR team
- Assist with ad hoc projects, research initiatives, and departmental priorities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of administrative or office support experience
- Prior experience supporting an HR team is required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong data entry, record-keeping, and documentation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Interest in Human Resources and willingness to learn and grow within the field
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $80K-$90K base salary + paid overtime + bonus
