Our client, a nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Patient Call Center Representative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Rockville, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Serve as a Participant Advocate, assisting members with benefits, eligibility, claims, enrollment, and other healthcare plan inquiries
- Research and resolve participant concerns while providing compassionate, professional customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams, providers, vendors, unions, and employers to support participants and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with enrollment, disability, and other participant-related processes
About You:
- High School Diploma required
- 1+ year of medical call center or customer service experience required
- Healthcare/Medical insurance experience preferred
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others
About The Position:
- Start Date: 10/5
- Hourly Pay: $29/hr
- Hourly Pay Conversion: $30/hr
- Fully onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Must be comfortable with a potential 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift upon conversion
- Reliable transportation required, not metro accessible
