Our client, a mission driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Patient Call Center Representative to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, chats, texts, and voicemails from older adults, caregivers, people with disabilities, and professionals seeking community-based resources and support services
- Assess caller needs and provide accurate referrals to approved agencies, programs, and aging or disability-related resources nationwide
- Transfer inquiries to appropriate organizations and service providers while following established protocols and performance standards
- Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and case records to support program requirements
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment while delivering exceptional customer service
- Support mission-driven efforts to connect individuals with services that promote independence and quality of life
About You:
- Minimum two years of college required; degree preferred
- Human services, call center, or customer service experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high-volume inquiries and work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of aging, disability, or information and referral services preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Reliable home internet and a dedicated workspace for remote work
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $21/hr
- Temporary contract (4-6+ months expected)
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
