This temporary Deposit Services Support Specialist opportunity offers $28/hour follows a Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM onsite schedule in Dedham, MA. This role is with a community banking and financial services organization and is expected to last 3-6 months, with potential for temp-to-hire consideration for top performers. The team is seeking candidates with banking operations and deposit services experience who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process deposit account maintenance, including title, name, address, rate, and transfer changes.
- Monitor and manage stop payment requests in compliance with UCC guidelines.
- Assist with tax levy and summons processing and resolve outstanding items.
- Support retirement account administration, including account downloads, maintenance reviews, reconciliations, and corrections.
- Review retirement plan setups, contributions, and distributions for accuracy.
- Follow up with branch personnel regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
- Assist internal staff and customers with complex account inquiries and death distributions.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations and complete required training.
- Perform reconciliations, exception handling, regulatory support, and other operational banking functions.
Candidate Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 24 months of banking operations or deposit services experience.
- Knowledge of deposit regulations, tax levies, legal processing, and banking operations.
- Experience handling regulatory, legal, or high-risk operational tasks.
- Familiarity with FIS Contact Center SRM and CMSE preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate typing and math skills.
- Self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
