Our client, a mission driven nonprofit is seeking a Workplace Services Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide day-to-day facilities and workplace operations support for a busy office environment
- Manage employee requests, maintenance issues, vendor coordination, office contracts, and compliance-related activities
- Support office operations including pantry and supply management, conference room setup, catering coordination, and visitor reception
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace tickets, facilities inquiries, and operational platforms
- Process invoices, track budgets, maintain records, and prepare operational reports
- Assist with employee communications, engagement initiatives, and office events
About You:
- 1+ years of experience in facilities, office management, workplace services, operations, administrative support, or customer service
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort learning new systems and platforms
- Experience working with vendors, office operations, and workplace-related issues
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
About The Position:
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Duration: 1-month temporary assignment (through November 23, 2026)
- $28-$32/hr
- 100% onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (35-hour workweek)
