Director of Acquisitions

We’re partnering with a growing real estate development firm to identify a Director of Acquisitions who will play a key role in sourcing and securing opportunities for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments. This individual will drive the firm’s acquisition strategy, build a robust pipeline of on- and off-market opportunities, cultivate relationships with brokers, landowners, and industry partners, and help support expansion into new markets across Chicago, the Southeast, and beyond.

This is a highly visible position offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the company’s long-term growth strategy, development pipeline, and market expansion efforts.

We’re seeking someone with:

• 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or related fields
• A proven track record of sourcing and securing land or development opportunities
• Strong relationships within the brokerage and real estate development communities
• Experience evaluating multifamily and mixed-use projects, including underwriting and market analysis
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and assess new market opportunities
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and business development skills
• An entrepreneurial approach and desire to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization
