Our client is seeking a hospitality‑driven open-ended Temporary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact within a high‑traffic, fast‑paced investment office. This is a front‑of‑house, white‑glove service role requiring exceptional professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in client‑facing environments and enjoys creating a seamless experience for employees, visitors, and stakeholders. Hours are 7:00am-4:00pm with some flexibility for early or late meetings, and the role is fully onsite five days per week. Hourly rate is up to $31.50/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary front‑of‑house presence, greeting clients and visitors with a high level of professionalism
- Register guests with building security and coordinate visitor access
- Manage conference room scheduling and reservations
- Coordinate catering, beverages, and meeting logistics for internal and external meetings
- Answer and route incoming calls and assist with phone coverage across offices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and client‑ready reception area and meeting rooms
- Assist with mailroom duties and package coordination
- Support office operations and assist Office Services team with special projects
- Maintain security protocols and monitor access points as needed
- Deliver a consistent, high‑touch hospitality experience across all interactions
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience in reception, hospitality, or client‑facing roles
- Strong customer service mindset with a polished, professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in a high‑traffic, highly visible front‑desk role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain a pristine environment
- Proactive, reliable, and service‑oriented mindset
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
