This temporary Customer Service Coordinator position offers $19.44-$20.90/hour, working 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, onsite in Haverhill, MA. The assignment is expected to last 7+ months and start as soon as possible. This opportunity is with a food manufacturing company and focuses heavily on customer service, order/data entry, and coordinating order fulfillment across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and process customer purchase orders, including quantities, item numbers, ship dates, and delivery details
- Review orders for accuracy and resolve or escalate discrepancies
- Process order changes, additions, and revisions within required deadlines
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and provide order and shipment updates
- Maintain customer records, spreadsheets, order documentation, and departmental files
- Assist with customer portals, shipping documentation, reporting, and data entry
- Track open items, follow-ups, and deadlines
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Shipping, Logistics, and Sales regarding orders and inventory
- Support changing department priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Candidate Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service, order entry, data entry, or administrative support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Practical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently after training
- ERP/order management system or retailer portal experience preferred
- Familiarity with shipping, logistics, or order fulfillment documentation is a plus
- Food manufacturing or distribution experience is helpful but not required
