Temporary HR Administrative Assistant (2-3 Month Assignment)

Start: ASAP
Duration: 2-3 months
Hours: 30-40 hours per week (typically 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; open to full 40 hours)
Dress Code: Business casual

Overview

We are seeking a temporary HR Administrative Assistant to support the HR team during a busy hiring period. This role will focus on administrative and coordination tasks related to onboarding, files management, and recruiting logistics. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running and is comfortable handling confidential HR information.

Responsibilities

  • Scan, file, and organize employee and HR documents
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires, including calendar scheduling and coordination
  • Conduct routine touchpoints with new hires
  • Support HR projects and help the team get caught up on backlogged administrative work
  • Assist with logistics related to job fairs and recruiting events
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings using Outlook
  • Maintain accurate records within the HRIS and shared systems

Qualifications

  • Prior HR or HR administrative experience required (confidentiality and privacy are essential in this role)
  • Experience working with HR documents and employee files
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (experience with HCM Cloud preferred; training provided)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including:
    • Outlook
    • Excel (drop-downs, formatting, filtering)
    • Teams and Word
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable
  • Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
