Inside Sales Representative / Appointment Setter
The Inside Sales Consultant has a critical role in the company. This individual starts the sales process over the phone. The Inside Sales Consultant will utilize our ACT database to make outbound calls to prospects for purposes of setting appointments for the outside sales team. Some leads are incoming from website, etc. while other leads come from various other platforms. Contract to Hire. 45K – 50K.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Outbound calling to prospects from ACT database and other platforms (80% of time)
- Strategic appointment setting in territories to maximize time of outside sales consultants.
- Work closely with Outside Sales Consultants to assist with smooth transition from appointment to face to face meeting.
- Communicate with prospective customers and set appointments for outside sales team
- Update customer lead database(s) as necessary
- Complete any other projects assigned by the Director/Owner
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Clear and pleasant telephone manner
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suites
- Proficiency in the use of internet software and search engines
- Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in electronic database
- Ability to function in high-pressure situations
- Excellent time-management skills
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other electronic devices
- Correctable vision and hearing
